FCS classes have been busy with applied learning. Childcare class designed and created puppets that could be used with preschoolers. The Family and Consumer Sciences classes and Family and Consumer Science Investigation class used FCS, math and science skills in their cooking labs.

Students in the Food Safety and Nutrition course and Family and Consumer Sciences Courses certified in Servsafe Food Handler. This is a nationally recognized certification accredited by the American National Standards Institute which verifies basic food safety knowledge.
To achieve the certification, students enrolled in an online food safety course and had to pass a food safety exam. Their certifications are good through 2023.

RBHS FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) took their annual Christmas Caroling trip, however it looked a little different this year. They stood outside to sing to the residents and yes it was cold, but the joy and smiles our group brought to them made it all worth it!! #FCA #PuttingStudentsFirst #RBHS
