Beginning Monday, January 11th: Students will only be allowed to transition from on-site learning to virtual learning OR virtual learning to on-site learning on Mondays. Parents may contact school office or counselor. #PuttingStudentsFirst
FCS classes have been busy with applied learning. Childcare class designed and created puppets that could be used with preschoolers. The Family and Consumer Sciences classes and Family and Consumer Science Investigation class used FCS, math and science skills in their cooking labs.

Students in the Food Safety and Nutrition course and Family and Consumer Sciences Courses certified in Servsafe Food Handler. This is a nationally recognized certification accredited by the American National Standards Institute which verifies basic food safety knowledge.
To achieve the certification, students enrolled in an online food safety course and had to pass a food safety exam. Their certifications are good through 2023.
